Description

Radicon through Elecon has manufactured and supplied a Helical Extruder Gearbox suitable for vertical offset mounting, with the input shaft at the bottom and the output shaft at the top. The gearbox features a moblock-type housing with an inbuilt thrust block, designed to accommodate a spherical roller thrust bearing. This gearbox has been designed for driving plastic extruder machines.

This was one of the largest gearbox manufactured in the country, featuring a vertical mounting for the extruder drive and suitable for a 150 kW drive. Additionally, the gearbox included features such as a forced lubrication system with a motor-driven pump, plate-type oil cooler, filters, and the necessary control valves and instruments
